Naming newborns after gods set to be the trend for 2017.

So after revealing the most popular names of 2016, it seems that the trend of 2017 will be naming your child after gods according to the Independant.

Looking at the list of names, it seems that i am ahead of the latest trend (1st time for everything) as Ada is set to jump up the chart in 2017.

Other names predicted to appear are (in no particular order) Thor, Jupiter, Atlas, Pandora and Zues alongside feminist heroine names like Ada, Elenor, Zelda and Frida.

In 2015, 5 boys were named God along with 20 named lord, 27 called saviour, 40 names Goddess and 1500 named Messiah!

Other names expected to appear are names like Fox, Lync, Tiger, Falcon and Hawk.

I'm looking forward to little Lillith's (a demon of Jewish folklore) and Kali's (The Hindu destroyer) keeping me busy in the near future!
